Missing an important and nice contribution

I'm searching for some time and .....nothing :blink:

 

Probably this contribution was not done yet :) I wish to create it but I'm not a coder specialist <_< not yet

 

What I'm looking for?

 

A script that allow the store admin to decide what products will be display on the main page, right now it's the new products page (Default)

I know about that script which allow you to customize the main page but this is not what I'm looking for. I need a simple check box that gives you the way to display a product in the main page.

So by checking 12 products; then you'll have that 12 products displayed on the main page.

 

any ideas will be appreciate. :blush:

Yes, Featured Products would be the one.

 

In the future, this could help you search for contributions better using Google:

Add the above into Google search and it will return any contributions that have to do with "products". :thumbsup:
