truthlover Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 We've custom designed our website and catalog pages. How do we customize and integrate the shopping cart pages to match our website? Our site (still under construction) can be viewd at http://www.helixdiscgolf.com/index.html We would appreciate your assistance with this.
♥Vger Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 Okay .... this is one of the most common mistakes. What you have is an html website. This has nothing to do with osCommerce. osCommerce IS the website, and not just a shopping cart. What you need to do is to make osCommerce look like the html website and then dump the html pages. Q. How do you make osCommerce look like the html website? A. Either you i. Employ a designer with a knowledge of osCommerce who can integrate the html design into osCommerce ii. Get to grips with osCommerce and PHP and learn how to do the integration yourself. A forum is never going to be able to tell you all that is necessary to take an html design concept and integrate it into a PHP based shopping cart. Vger
digilee Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 I would suggest hiring a designer/ developer (rather than just a designer) or look through the contribs for STS but as Vger says, OSC is the site so use that to create the html pages. truthlover Posted March 21, 2008 Author Posted March 21, 2008  Thank you for your help. To save money, we were trying to do this ourselves and were doing fine with the html, then got stuck with the shopping cart, and how to change the look.
