I appear to have successfully installed Paypal on my cart as I have successfully paid a test payment of 0.01p. However, when I click on "confirm order" I am taken to a Paypal payment page to complete payment. This means that the order is not completed on the cart and therefore no emails are sent by the cart, nor is any order recorded in the admin>orders field. I have correctly completed the send extra order emails field but I must be missing something. Can anyone assist, please?

umtwebby Posted March 21, 2008 Author Posted March 21, 2008 Hello, No I did not return. I am only using Paypal as a payment facility and I think I need to switch on the IPN facility. Could somebody assist with what the Notification URL is likely to be?

The return urls and ipn should be set by the paypal module, however if you fail to return to the site after payment, ten the order will not have its status updated, and so will not show up in admin. It will be logged in the database, but with a status of 0

I use Paypal IPN now which works a treat - Orders are updated in admin and email notifications are sent & received - PERFECT...... BUT...... I can not return to the site after the tranaction? and customers do not get the confirmation page come up? I also have a problem with customers who want to pay by Cheque/postal orders - the final page (confirmation page) doesn't come up? and I do not receive any form of notification via email or admin that anyone even ordered something.
