I am looking at 'on the fly', but this mod will only work if the permissions on the images folder is 777. I was under the impression that this is a big security problem. I have them set at 755 and change them whenever i need to add a new product. Please tell me if 777 is OK or should I find a new thumbnailer Tim

knifeman Posted March 19, 2008 Author Posted March 19, 2008 I did fix the other issue. I posted a big thank you in the other thread. My previous thumbnailer was conflicting with php5. I uninstalled it and downloaded on the fly. I have seen this mod mentioned all over the forum and thought it was a good one. It installed easy, but it changed my permissions. I guess I need to download and try a third.... I would look for another one, it is not worth the risk. Did you fix your other issue?
