susanp951 Posted March 19, 2008 Posted March 19, 2008 I am trying to add keywords, description and title to the website of the company I work for. I was told to use the Header Tags Controller Contribution in order to do this. I have downloaded the contribution and in the process of reading through the 'read-me' files, I fail to find where I add the keywords, description and title that I have chosen for our website. Can someone please tell me how I go about doing this, or in the alternative, please give me a better understanding of the contribution: Header Tags Controller? Thank you in advance. Susan

Susan Have you installed it? Once you do everything is configured from the admin, you can place your tags for each category and product from the respective admin pages for them, and you can fill in tags for all other pages from the header tags section that will be created in admin during install. Jack_mcs Posted March 20, 2008 Posted March 20, 2008 The process of setting up a site for the search engines is call SEO (search engine optimization). Header Tags will help with that but does not cover the full process. If you search the forums for SEO, you will find many posts on the subject. But to get started, go to the above menu, Community->Contributions, search for "Header Tags Controller," download and follow the instructions. Once set up, it will handle optimizing most of your category and product pages.
