yueteki Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 Hi, My goods is going to be sold in USA and European Union. The goods is taxable, and my main customers are from biomedical research institutions and biopharmaceutical industry. However, the customers vary in terms of sales tax payments. Some customers in the US [except my residential state, Massachusetts (MA)] and European Union need to pay the tax themselves and I can ignore this tax collection by law. But, I need to collect the sales tax from the customers in MA, especially those in profitable organizations. Fortunately, there also are a lot of customers who come from non-profitable institutions with tax exempt certificates in MA, and I need not to collect the tax from them. My question is: how can I set up my tax zones and tax rates to deal with this complicate situation? Anyone can help? Thanks in advance. Quote
