wessex Posted March 15, 2008 Posted March 15, 2008 hi..new here..managed to upload the oscomerece..got the database and everything working...then i found a site that had oscommerce templates.. can anyone advise who can change the look of the site with these templates. I dont know where im supposed to put the new look template design in my site..i.e where each folder containing the new template should go. downloaded from: http://www.freetemplatesonline.com/templat...c95862619ad.zip It contains a fonts folder, a phd folder, and a html folder....again have no idea how to use them... any advice will be very greatfully received.
Guest Posted March 15, 2008 Posted March 15, 2008 I just downloaded one from freetemplatesonline.com to see what the story is with the template. From what I can see the only folder in the download you need to worry about the the osc folder. I could be completly wrong but it seems like you have to use the files in the download and replace files in your original install of osc. I would suggest backing up you original ocs store if you have already done some work to it. Copy the files from the download to you installed osc on your server. and see what happens. There does not seem to be any instructions with the download so I am guessing thats what you have to do. Might try it myself, the ocs template looks quite good.
