abubobbob Posted March 15, 2008 Posted March 15, 2008 Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Can't create a new thread (errno 12); if you are not out of available memory, you can consult the manual for a possible OS-dependent bug in /home/**********/*******/includes/functions/database.php on line 19 Unable to connect to database server!... WHY!!!! Definetly not a memory issue, i know i was a cheapscat in the server host im using, but im nowhere near pushing their boundaries... And I couldnt figure out another reason for this... Upon reading other threads I noticed alot of the Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: .... but none related to my issue it seems. The site went down for only 5minutes, but i think thats 5minutes to long... Other reasons put forth for this error were to do with to many queries and such, but I didnt have many customers and just one little google bot sitting there happily trawling away as usual. Blabing over, has anyone come across this issue, or know of any possible reasons for this... and how could I fix it? Thanks for any help given. (would the fact my host is in america and im in england cause any probs here) Abu

burt Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 You might like to see this blog post, in which I had a an idea for when the sql server is down, which is bit more nicer for your customers than seeing some message that is showing your site as broken: http://www.clubosc.com/mysql-server-down-oh-no.html
