henneart Posted March 15, 2008 Posted March 15, 2008 My web host has an installation option but of course gives no support. I really screwed up the first attempt so I uninstalled and reinstalled. Now when I click the link for the Admin page I get an error saying there's no index.html so I put one in but still cant' get to admin pages. Don't know if it would be better to uninstall again and reinstall thru my web host or just download and in stall manually. Thanks in advance for any help I get.
Guest Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 Hello, Are you using the Fantastico in cPanel to install osCommerce? I have been using Fantastico in cPanel to install osCommerce for many many times. No any problem up to now. It takes less than one minute to install osCommerce:) Best regards

I uninstalled and reinstalled yet again and finally am able to get the admin pages. Now working on permissions. Tried permissons suggested in the install section of boards but not working.
