Need to retrieve CVV2 code - how to install it?

Hi Everyone!

 

Due to the new regulations, I need to ask the customer for his CVV2 code of his credit card.

 

Can anyone tell me how I can easily implement this? I think for the beginning I just need an extra field added to the page where his credit card details are being asked, that will be added to the database (later on we will direct it to an online verification system.

 

I have read the thread by Kevin Fairbanks ( http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=20648 ), but it is not clear for me how to insert his code and also not what it exactly does.
