changing the default image size on the product info page

I have just installed OS Commerce and am in the process of editing the look/feel of it. I would like to replace the small (92x80) thumbnail image with one large image (roughly 400px wide) that would be across the top of the center column rather than shoved to the right of the column. Does anyone know a way to do this and/or if there is a contribution that will give more control over image content throughout the site?
