Guest Posted March 14, 2008 Posted March 14, 2008 Hey We are using RC1 and regrettably our site was indexed by google and other search engines before we learned about the 'Prevent Spider Sessions' so now in search results session id's are coming up. We have installed 2 fixes which we hope will sort this out, the fixes we have installed are ocSsid Fix - Google & E-mail work aroung and a 303 fix from this topic. Will these fixes be enough or is there something else/better we could do? We have enabled 'Prevent Spider Sessions' now but I think googlebot is still having a session id when viewing the 'Who's Online' in the admin panel. Should this still be happening? Many thanks Alex
Guest Posted March 15, 2008 Posted March 15, 2008 Hey I've another question regarding session ID's. If someone is browsing our site and has created a session and they post a link to a product in say a forum - will the same problem regarding shared sessions occur? Thanks Alex
