How Do I Disable Downloads for Cash/MO orders only?

I'm selling a product available as a choice of three media, selectable via product attributes.

 

Paper Hardcopy

PDF on CD

Downloadable PDF

 

Since the download module gives the buyer access to the download immediately if they choose Check/MO (a bad thing IMO);

And since buyers who need the product in a hurry aren't likely to be using Check/MO as a payment option anyway;

And although I'm only accepting Paypal right now, I'll probably add GCO, and quite possibly other payment options

 

Can I simply and easily just disable Check/MO orders for Downloadable Media only and if so How?
