a few problems installing and using oscomerce

Hi there,

 

Im new to this and dont understand whats going on but i done the install how everything said but thats as far as i get if i click on admin tool i get the following errors

 

 

Warning: session_save_path() [function.session-save-path]: SAFE MODE Restriction in effect. The script whose uid is 48586 is not allowed to access owned by uid 0 in /admin/includes/functions/sessions.php on line 165

 

Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: Cannot send session cookie - headers already sent by (output started at /admin/includes/functions/sessions.php:165) in /admin/includes/functions/sessions.php on line 102

And if i get into the catalog i get the following errors at the top of the page

Would any one be able to tell me how to fix this please as I cant get into the admin.
