Our site is not listed on any search engines. We have tried several times to install the contributions to change to url friendly sites, but nothing is working. Maybe has something to do with htaccess? We are on an Apache server so we don't think that is the problem. Our site is bigrocksigns.com...any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

I'm not surprised that Search Engines aren't listing your site. You have no links to standard pages like Shipping & Returns and Terms and Conditions. There's also no 'About Us' page added, no content on the Privacy page, no SSL on the site, no Meta Tags, and no Ultimate SEO URLs. There's no text on the homepage describing what you sell. What are they supposed to be picking up and recording?

Ultimate SEO URL's is quite easy to install provided your site is hosted on an Apache server with Mod Rewrite enabled. If you're not hosted on that type of server then you need to switch hosts.

You also need to install cDynamic Meta Tags. It's a fairly long install, but not too difficult to do.

You also need a full SSL Certificate. No one in their right mind buys from sites without SSL these days.

Then you need to install the "Define Content" CMS add-on which will allow you to add content to any page which is made part of the system from within osCommerce admin, and also to add text to the start of each Category describing what's in it.
