Design313 Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 I use Authorize.net and when a customer hecks out choosing Paypal option I do not get the item description on my Paypal receipt. The item appears as the name of my store/company but not the item..I contacted Paypal support and this was there reply to the problem. Can this be fixed? "That means that your shopping cart is submitting an aggregate amount rather then a specific item per item list. The shopping cart needs to be submitting it as an itemized list." "If you setup your shopping cart to pass only one item name it will work fine for one item. But at the point the customer has multiple items you will have issues. Since you are using OSCommerce you would need to most likely get a developer to help you. Oscommerce does not have over the phone technical support. It will not be very easy to just switch the cart to allow multiple items. So you could look for another cart that already does this. Or you can maybe find a newer module of OScommerce that does multiple items. You can also hire a developer." Quote

Design313 Posted March 19, 2008 Author Posted March 19, 2008 My problem is resolved. I installed:http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contri...ry,1/search,ipn and its works fine. Does Paypal IPN work better with this problem? Standard module has no options you quoted as using. Can I install both or should Standard be removed to use IPN? Quote
