pwgrand Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 Ok i don't know if someone wrote this before me, but i think it's an important info for all which want to validate their site. days ago i used the xhtml validator. I got a shock. What output i got... NO DOCTYPE FOUND also was the DOCTYPE Text not on the top ...it was around line 24 in the validator. The root element was br in the validator. Days i was searching what this error can be......Here a simple answer. I updated the spiders text file in includes... For the validator was this a mistake because the validator is inside the new spider.txt file which you find in the osc contribs. delete it and run the validator. If you ever search for this DOCTYPE not found error. I'm very sorry for my english, but i think you understand the meaning. :thumbsup:
