Guest
For some reason the log in and sign up links in my store are using https. How did this happen and how can I fix it? Using the https results in a page not found.
agadak
The login and sign up pages are supposed to use HTTPS to minimize the chances of someone capturing the info entered on your website by malicious people. A better focus may be to try to fix why the page is not found on https: since alot of your customers won't like not having https.
Guest
Okay.. well I have another store set up that doesn't use the https. How can I fix that so it is https? I hope I won't have to reinstall it...
agadak
Using version 2.2, during the install you setup a path for https and are also asked if you wish to use SSL. This is the way I have been doing it and it works every time.

Guest
Nope, just change the paths in your configuration files. theres one for the shop and one for the admin.
Guest
ah thanks. :) Well right now I have the https switched off until I find out why https doesn't work on my server. As for using it I am only accepting paypal at this time so I don't think using PayPal a secure connection would be needed.
