problem in installation

Sir,

I wal able to connect successfully to database and given the store name, admin username & pasword etc.

 

When I am clicking on the administration tool, I am getting the following error

 

"1046 - No database selected

 

select configuration_key as cfgKey, configuration_value as cfgValue from configuration"

 

Please help. Thanks in advance.
