I ran the .sql, I couldnt figure out how to use compare so I uploaded the new files instead. I didn't notice any change at all. Quote

Guest Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 I check in admin and their was three lines "purchase without account" all were marked yes. I guess I made three install attempts or ran the .sql three times. So I disabled two of the three and it still wont work. Quote
Jack_mcs Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 If you look at the login page, does it have two or three choices? What version of PWA did you install? Guest Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 (edited) It has the two choices, I tried this one "osCommerce v2.2rc2a - Purchase Without Account v2.0a" and this one "osCommerce MS2 - Purchase Without Account" Edited March 12, 2008 by stage3racing Quote
Jack_mcs Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 Edit the login.php file and change this line if (defined('PURCHASE_WITHOUT_ACCOUNT') && (PURCHASE_WITHOUT_ACCOUNT == 'ja' || PURCHASE_WITHOUT_ACCOUNT == 'yes')) { to this { Save and upload the file and see of your login page has three options. If it does, then it is a database problem. If it doesn't, then it's a file problem. Either way, restore the above change to avoid problems later on. Guest Posted March 14, 2008 Posted March 14, 2008 I changed that code as you said and it had no effect, so that means its a file problem. I uploaded all the files again and it still had no change. Quote
Jack_mcs Posted March 14, 2008 Posted March 14, 2008 What is the complete name of the file you downloaded from the contributions section? Guest Posted March 14, 2008 Posted March 14, 2008 Let me add that this store is new and I havent done much to it. I'm willing to reinstall it, it would only take me a hour to do so second time around. Quote

Guest Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 I used pwa v.910 and it didnt work. I then noticed that my catalog existed in 2 directories httpdocs/catalog and httpsdocs/catalog. I added the updates to both directories and it now works. I dont understand why it exists in two locations but atleast I know now. Thanks Guys. Quote
