Hi,

 

I have an oscommerce template of which I am about to use but I wish to make some slight colour changes to theleft hand box, the text on the page links within, the colour bars underneath the left hand link text and the header.

 

Is it a matter of finding these colours in the stylesheet and replacing the colour codes with the darker shades I wish to use? or is there more involved?

 

Also how do I find the correct colour codes in the stylesheet to edit?

You are correct that all you need to do is figure out which is which and change them. I do not use a template, but I think this should help you:
