ivantraf Posted March 11, 2008 Posted March 11, 2008 Hello! This is the error I get: An error has occurred within our system while trying to process your credit card. Please try this transaction again. If the problem persists, please call 1-800-317-6958 to place your order. I have found this text in the admin language module qbms.php so I understand where the text is coming from, but I don't understand why I am getting this error. I am using the desktop method of quickbooks merchant services (qbms), have an app ID, app login and connection ticket. Can somebody help please? Thanks in advance. Guest Posted March 11, 2008 Posted March 11, 2008 Call them and ask if they are receiving the transaction data. If not ask them if it needs to be tied to your dedicated IP address. If they are receiving it they should be able to help you get it fixed. If you are testing the contribution you might be in test mode but might not have a test account with the payment processor.

Thanks Java, but the number leads no where. I think it is just canned text. Also, I'm using the desktop version of qbms, so it doesn't require a statip IP address. Any other ideas? On the qbms tutorial, i used my details to transmit a successful test.
user99999999 Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 Interesting, the phone number must have been left in by the module developer. Here: http://www.fiveaspects.org/ There is some more info in this thread includinfg a .pdf setup guide. I would expect the desktop model to have additional issues with your router/firewall and connection timout. http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/lofiversion/i...hp?t274406.html
