OScommerce looks like maybe the tool for me? I have a few domains, all pretty basic. Currently they are more like brochures. I want to add e-commerce. Even more important, I want a nice photo gallery as I am a professional photoartist. And I am a writer and executive coach. So communication is tops - easy to use e-newsletter function, easy to change posts, easy to create, rename, upload to, publish and destroy galleries. Whatever I choose, I need wysiwyg to see the images I'm working with on the server. What do you think is best cms for my situation?

So you going to sell your photos or just letting other to view?

Because if just showing your portfolio of photos, you can think about gallery2

Gallery 2 is a standalone open-source gallery system distinct from oscommerce.

It contains it's own checkout and direct-to-print systems for print ordering.

I am looking at the doing something similar, selling photographic prints but the slick look of the site is all important to me and i would like to use uk paypal payments pro so my options are pretty narrow. Hence oscommerce seems like the right shop but figuring out how to get a cool look has not been any fun so far, i have downloaded sts a html template system add on, but beware it creates a whole lot of new problems too.

i just took a look at gallery 2, it is simple but not so "buyer" friendly and it does not support uk paypal pro....

has anyone done this already? i would love to see some top class running photo-galleries in oscomerce maybe i could get some ideas of what is poss, i took a look at the showcases but there are no previews and most of the ones i looked at were very ruff or standard(ish)...

I wish you well Olivia, but i have put 60 hours into this right now and am not looking at anything pretty....

Thank you for clarifying this. :)

Is there a known/straightforward way to integrate this to OSC?
