Credit Card Processing Error

Hello All, I am experiencing a strange issue, I looked around on the forums but couldn't find any help as I issue seems slightly different to other similar ones.

 

I have a new store running 2.2 MS2 and I running T-hub too to allow store to web store synchronization, all was going well and I tested the entire setup after the T-Hub install and I was able to process orders with no hassle. Then my client called me and said that the store cannot process credit cards, when the credit info is inputed and processed, an error comes up saying something along the lines of "The first numbers on your credit card are..." BUT, it does not show any numbers and of course the card is not processed. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you in advance... :blush:

If you are using the Credit Card module that comes with osC it does not process Credit Cards. It is meant for off line processing only, you have to enter the transaction yourself.

 

It is set up so that part of the cc number is emailed to the store owner and the other part is available from the admin of your store.

Thank you peter, so the answer is to deactivate the current cc module and install a "real" credit card module from the contributions section? If so, may you suggest a simple reliable one?

I am sorry to re-post but i should mention that i do not want a credit module that actually does the transaction, because I have setup T-hub and so the transaction is actually run in the physical store on a quickbooks POS system. I just want the credit info captured so it can be charged once the order is pulled, I hope that makes sense...
