Acronymnumb Posted March 8, 2008 Posted March 8, 2008 My domain host has OScommerce(one click, add a password and it is enabled) and I have initiated an OScommerce on my site from there. I could do two? One is enough, if it were that easy to find the other instructions to make a basic sales template?? I've gone to the admin page and added location, store name etc. BUT Starting up? Clueless. After looking around for two days I am still in the dark? I need to set up a store for digital audio sales. If its on my domain already is there need to download anything? As I said Clueless? Where is the initial set up pages with instruction? IE: I would like to see a template with a list from 1 to 100 that I can EDIT IE: change the titles of and add a common price for each song for sale. Add a graphic and a paypal info Then Set a link on my site page to the sales page and say I'm done. Is it this easy? It is advertised as being this easy I see nothing obvious that would lead me to any of this? acronymnumb.....because of all the php's, and other unexplained acro's
♥geoffreywalton Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 I guess the documentation is orientated towards people that want to change osc rather than how to set up products and sell them. Go to the osc admin page and click on Catalog then Categories/Products. This is where you set up what you want to sell. If you want to sell downloads it depends on which version of osc you have instaleed whether you need to install a contribution or no. Anyway that might get you started in the right direction. You could buy a book or employ someone to teach you to use the software.
