Hi,

I am receiving the following error....

--------------------------

Warning: I am able to write to the configuration file: /home/xxxx/public_html/xxxxxxxxxxx/store/includes/configure.php. This is a potential security risk - please set the right user permissions on this file.

---------------------------------

My configure.php file is set to 644 but the error still appears at the top of my page?

PLEASE HELP! I am new to this and stressing out bigtime!

Thank you in advance.

Thanks

Some servers require somthing different, but areyou sure the permissions are 640. Did you change them via your webhosts control panel filemanager or your ftp program?

Hi, I have just solved this problem. I went to the control panel of my domain name, found something within the control panel called the 'File Manager' found the correct file - catalog/includes/configure.php and was given an option to change the permissions of the file - I changed it from 644 to 444 (or read only)

Hope this helps.
