froggy711 Posted March 7, 2008 Posted March 7, 2008 (edited) I have been working on trying to get my text to format in an Item description. All I really am trying to do is list my description with a simple line break or a bullet would be nice to have an item description that is not one large paragraph of words only separated by a comma or period. It would clean up the look of the description and help point our key features of a product. I was wondering if there were any contributions that address this, a text editor like the ones used in forum posting would be awesome. Thank you for taking the time to read this post. froggy711 Posted March 8, 2008 Author Posted March 8, 2008 If you want to format your text<br> You have to use HTML in your product descriptions.<br> <br> I hope you get my meaning.<br> You know how it is sometimes you think about something so hard you over look the small things, and as soon as I started to read the reply, the more stupid I felt. SO I thank you for your help, it works perfectly when you use a simple language. Thanks again Quote
germ Posted March 8, 2008 Posted March 8, 2008 No need to "feel stupid". I didn't know you were supposed to use HTML in there either until I tried it. I wasn't trying to be rude, crude, nor obnoxious. And I didn't know how much you knew about HTML, so I answered your question, and provided an example at the same time. I hope that was OK. froggy711 Posted March 9, 2008 Author Posted March 9, 2008 (edited) I thank you, and I did not take your explination the wrong way, actually it was kind of like a light switch. It's funny because I literally tried everything else, even worked on building a text editor into the admin pannel so I could get my descriptions to work. I was looking so far outside the box for an answer I forgot to even try using simple .Html When you suggested it I just could not believe I didn't try that. All I can say is thanks a ton, I really really wanted to get a nice looking description and Now I can do that, Have a great day and thanks again.
