gretchenwf Posted March 7, 2008 Posted March 7, 2008 I can not get osCommerce to send any mail to a gmail account. This includes contact us, extra order emails, new account emails, order confirmation emails, and even using the send mail tool in the admin. I can send to other email addresses just fine. I even contacted google and went through their help process. They said that the messages were never even getting to their servers. Why would this only happen for gmail accounts? Has anyone else had this problem? If anyone can suggest any ideas for troubleshooting I will love you forever! Thank you, Gretchen
web-project Posted March 7, 2008 Posted March 7, 2008 its problem with your server as you need to setup the spf records in DNS Please read this line: Do you want to find all the answers to your questions? click here. As for contribution database it's located here! 8 people out of 10 don't bother to read installation manuals. I can recommend: if you can't read the installation manual, don't bother to install any contribution yourself. Before installing contribution or editing/updating/deleting any files, do the full backup, it will save to you & everyone here on the forum time to fix your issues. Any issues with oscommerce, I am here to help you.
gretchenwf Posted March 7, 2008 Author Posted March 7, 2008 its problem with your server as you need to setup the spf records in DNS Thanks for the tip. I have added an SPF record to my DNS entries. I still can't send mail to gmail, but I'm assuming it needs some time to propegate. I will update whether or not it works.
