suegal Posted March 7, 2008 Posted March 7, 2008 Hello, I am new to oscommerce and trying to install on a virtual dedicated server at godaddy, I see the files in my file manager but I do not know how to get the store to work, perhaps I have them in the wrong place? I have created an empty database in the control panel, should I have uploaded the files into the database? I am toatally confused as to how to get this to work, any help is greatly appreciated.
Bushmaster Posted March 7, 2008 Posted March 7, 2008 Upload them to the “public_html” directory in your hosting account. If you do a default install you would then goto h ttp://yourdomin.com/catalog and install will walk you through it.
