Buy Now Button Problem

My website won't complete the checkout process when I click on "buy now". It will ask for the user id and password and when that is entered and you click on "continue" it goes to the page that says "your shopping cart is empty". And then if you click on "continue" it takes you back to the home page with nothing in the shopping cart. Can anyone please help me???????

This must be a bug someone has fixed by now. My site does the same thing, but not to everyone, I guess. I can make it work, but I have made previious purchases. Maybe it is something to do with a new customer? Please enlighten us. thanks.

I'm getting the cookie_useage page when I try to login or add an item to the cart.

In your admin go to configuration then sessions and set

force coolie use to false

check ssl session id to true

check user agent to false

check ip address to false

prevent spider sessions to true

recreate session to true
