kathyDUI Posted March 6, 2008 Posted March 6, 2008 I am trying to install a gift certificate module. After making the changes and uploading all the files I receive this error on the top of my shopping cart Warning: I am able to write to the configuration file: /web/osc/includes/configure.php. This is a potential security risk - please set the right user permissions on this file. Having trouble changing the chmod on two files. Can anyone tell me how this will impact the cart until I get the permissions changed? Thanks
FIMBLE Posted March 6, 2008 Posted March 6, 2008 Hello, You need to change the permissions to 644, other wise the file is open to be written to by anyone who happens to get access to it. It has your database + password in there too! Sometimes you're the dog and sometimes the lamp post [/url] My Contributions
