urbunner Posted March 5, 2008 Posted March 5, 2008 For some reason I cannot edit the paypal or paypal ipn contribution in the administration panel. I try to set it to true to enable and when I press the update button at the bottom it defaults back to the original settings. All the other areas like Configuration, Catalog, Customers ...etc. edit and work fine. I only have problems with the payment module. Any help is appreciated
jonquil Posted March 5, 2008 Posted March 5, 2008 Have you tried uninstalling the module and then reinstalling? jon It's all just ones and zeros....
urbunner Posted March 5, 2008 Author Posted March 5, 2008 Yes I've tried it several times and still have the same problem. I also noticed in my browser status bar that once I click the update button it sends the information and shows it as being completed in the status bar but it does not reflect the changes in the administration panel. Is there a way to reinstall just the payment module without having to do the whole catalog.
jonquil Posted March 5, 2008 Posted March 5, 2008 Let's be sure we're talking about the same thing. When I suggested you uninstall, then reinstall, the module, I meant through Admin. I hope you don't think I meant reinstall osCommerce, right? It's all just ones and zeros....
urbunner Posted March 5, 2008 Author Posted March 5, 2008 Right, I know what you mean and yes I did try to uninstall it several times in the admin panel with no success
jonquil Posted March 5, 2008 Posted March 5, 2008 Then what I would do is uninstall the module, reupload (FTP) to overwrite the module's php files and try the install again, okay? jon It's all just ones and zeros....
urbunner Posted March 5, 2008 Author Posted March 5, 2008 Thanks Yeah I will give it a shot and see what happens
urbunner Posted March 5, 2008 Author Posted March 5, 2008 After some searching I found this patch that fixed the problem http://svn.oscommerce.com/jira/browse/OSC-160
jonquil Posted March 5, 2008 Posted March 5, 2008 Good on you for persisting and finding the answer. I'm sorry my suggestions were not effective for you. jon [ http://svn.oscommerce.com/fisheye/rdiff/os...589&u&N ] admin/includes/functions/compatibility.php includes/functions/compatibility.php It's all just ones and zeros....
