*Suggestions* No product details page needed - just popup image of product

Hi Folks! First time posting here and am considering using osCommerce for a new site I'm designing for a t-shirt company. I've researched other programs (like Joomla, CRE, etc.) but like and favor the overall look of osCommerce sites. But maybe this software is too complex for what I am needing to use? :'(

 

Now, this site is meant for only the company's buyers and reps to view (no consumers) so only product number, name and wholesale price is needed. And when they click (or mouse-over) on the thumbnail image of the t-shirt a larger image pops open. So, ironically, I won't need all the shopping cart stuff.

 

Here's my question, on the page that shows the rows of products, can one customize the page where a click on the thumbnail image pops up a window of a larger image rather than direct people to the product's detail page? Also can the options of shopping cart be removed?

 

Hope this makes sense and thanks in advance for any pointers or direction given...
