sandfox Posted March 4, 2008 Posted March 4, 2008 Hi, This is not exactly a big problem but it definitely is a flaw. My “Tell a Friend” emails go out as plain text, meaning even the link inside is just a line of not clickable text. The same goes for emails sent out automatically after the customer placed an order. It just doesn't look professional enough if customers have to copy and paste the link. My newsletter and emails sent from the admin section are HTML and I’ve enabled sending HTML as well. Can anybody tell me what to do to make all emails HTML?

It can be also done manually by editing the email.php or something. I don't remember exactly. What's weird is that if I put a link inside an email sent from admin, it would display as a clickable link once it had arrived. But the two types of email described earlier display as plain text with line breaks. No HTML at all.

I have had to install addons to make it happen.
