Double fields after upgrade?

After having upgraded (from an old 2.2 version to a new one), I now get a double set of fields.

 

In the Configuration / My Store, some of the fields show up twice:

 

Send Extra Order Emails To

Send Extra Order E-Mails To

Use Search-Engine Safe URLs (still in development) false

Use Search-Engine Safe URLs false

Display Cart After Adding Product true

Display Cart After Adding Product true

Allow Guest To Tell A Friend true

Allow Guest To Tell A Friend false

Default Search Operator and

Default Search Operator and

 

The cID's are all higher for the doublet below the original.

 

Have I done anything wrong?

Sort the configuration table by configuration_key

 

Next, compare the two duplicates. You might use two windows for this, one to display and one to work in.

 

Keep the good entry and delete the incorrect one. By this I mean, if you have one already configured, you need to keep that one.

 

When it comes to the shipping and payment module entries, you are better off turning them all off, removing any remaining ones and then turn them back on and reconfigure them.

 

Make sure you have a back up of your database. This is a lovely time to break things trying to clean up.

 

Also, if you remember which were added first, your originals or the install, then the ones with the higher numbers belong to one group and the ones with the lower numbers belong to the other group of the records that were added.

 

If you take your time, you can get this cleaned up without a terrible mess.

 

The immediate problem is determining what is new and changed information and what is current and configured information.
