dazza0101 Posted March 1, 2008 Author Posted March 1, 2008 I'd like to hear what you will be changing/ finishing off soon. Hi dlgilee, thank you for your reply, I still need to change a couple of icons, the red bar at the bottom of the page needs adjusting, also the corrugated iron in the header image I think needs to pass under the navigation bar all the way to the bottom of the header image, as well as I need to add my information such as shipping and return, privacy notice etc. Darren. :) IF IT AINT BROKE, I CAN FIX IT TILL IT IS!
digilee Posted March 2, 2008 Posted March 2, 2008 Don't forget of course things like SSL, SEO URL's, meta tags etc. These, as far as I am concerned, are all basic needs. Not sure if it's a template (did you mention it before?) but it's not my cup of tea. Nothing necessarily wrong with it, just not for me. SolarFrenzy Solar powered gadgets at down to earth prices. dazza0101 Posted March 2, 2008 Author Posted March 2, 2008 Hi dlgilee, I used a contribution called "oscdark" as a starting point and went from their, I just wasn't happy with anything that I could do with a stock standard shop, I'm pretty happy with how this one turned out but what's more important is what my potential customers think. If it's not your cup of tea dlgilee, there's bound to be others that would think the same of my shop, it could be very helpful to know what you don't like? Darren. :) IF IT AINT BROKE, I CAN FIX IT TILL IT IS!
dazza0101 Posted March 3, 2008 Author Posted March 3, 2008 This is my first real attempt at modifying a web site, I knew virtually nothing about how the code works behind these websites when I began, it would really help to know if this shop looks any good after what I have done to it?? Maybe I need to start over??? Anyone at all maybe just a, it's really crappy, what a horrible looking shop, or it looks good enough to get you started. Thank you for taking the time to see my shop, Darren. IF IT AINT BROKE, I CAN FIX IT TILL IT IS!
litews Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 What is your hosting? It seems not working here in China

homewetbar Posted March 13, 2008 Posted March 13, 2008 Very 1980ish, reminds me of the old BBSes... Not quite sure what your products will be since they are all test images right now but dependant on what you're selling it might be fine to start with. c-sargent Posted March 13, 2008 Posted March 13, 2008 can I be honest? I hate it. In particular the header background just makes my eyes do loop the loops. Looks like cheap corrigated tin shed panels. The header pics of the 'roo and rock look like bad oil paintings (perhaps they're meant to be that way?) I dont like the bright red against black - to stark a contrast. When you move over the drop down menus the background is blue which isnt used anywhere else on your site. sorry but I wouldn't buy from your shop. Chris :(
