Os Commerce Template Installation Help Database Import

I need help installing my os commerce template onto my website.

 

I have a fresh install of os commerce, and am stuck at the New Installation Page:

 

It is asking me for the following information:

 

Database Server (I am assuming this would be my domain name i.e. www.oscommerce.com)

 

Username (This is where I am stuck)

 

Password: (Stuck here to)

 

Database Name:

 

I cannot figure out for the life of me what to input for the username, password, and database name, I have tried all my different passwords, and no go, will not let me go past, I get a message saying the test connection was not successful.

 

I am really pulling my hair out on this, and would like to get this installed asap.

You need to ask your hosting company for you MySQL database settings if you can't find them in your hosting control panel (e.g. cPanel)

I have cpanel, so i got into mysql and the user password and everything will be there?

Haven't used cPanel much myself but it should list all the details you require

Do I need to add a new username for it to go through or use any of the current users listed. I am extremely new to oscommerce, and am pulling my hair out trying to upload this template...

Oscomerce is already installed, unless that link is for instructions on templates which I assume is the same thing. Please clarify
