Guest Posted March 1, 2008 Posted March 1, 2008 Hi all, Now that my SSL has propogated I can't access via FTP??? I have just purchased a SSL cert and was able to access the site via Cyberduck FTP last night. Is there a new way that I have to access via FTP now that the SSL is there??? The site is www.livedesigntoday.com and I desperately need to upload a new index file to give access to the site. The site was to be launched today!!! please help, i'm desperate! Cheers, Brett
germ Posted March 1, 2008 Posted March 1, 2008 I really hate to "rain on your parade", but installing an SSL certificate shouldn't affect your FTP at all. It only affects things in the browser, when it's active. When you do get things going again, post again in this thread and we'll figure out why your images aren't showing when SSL is active. https://www.livedesigntoday.com/shop/index.php (Click "No" when it asks if you want to display the non-secure items) If I suggest you edit any file(s) make a backup first - I'm not perfect and neither are you.
