paul_adams Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 Hi all, I want to upload some files to my website. So I am looking for an advanced FTP client software solution designed for ease of use by both novices and professionals. It should be powerful and secure file transfer solution. It should also have total control, security, efficiency, and simplicity. If you people have any idea then please let me know. Thanks in advance!

Guest Posted February 29, 2008 Posted February 29, 2008 Although I used FlashFXP for years and thought it were the best, I've been using FTPRush the last couple years. Its great!
Guest Posted February 29, 2008 Posted February 29, 2008  i used to use cuteftp until i discovered WinSCP (it's free and allows connection via sftp with a secure key generated from your server, while keeping the standard ftp look & feel) of course, because of this: http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=293298 i disabled ssh access outside of my area. the likelihood of a neighbor hacking me is slim compared to the region of the world where most of my hack attempts come from.

I have to ask why you described as above, are you in marketing by any chance. LOL I have to say I use FTPRush and find it adequate for the task.
burt Posted April 1, 2008 Posted April 1, 2008 I have used LeechFTP for the last 10 years or so - never fond a need to change to anything else.
mme Posted May 23, 2008 Posted May 23, 2008 Smart FTP 2.5 I dont like v3 as it seems to screw up transfers and such.
