Hi all,

I want to upload some files to my website. So I am looking for an advanced FTP client software solution designed for ease of use by both novices and professionals. It should be powerful and secure file transfer solution. It should also have total control, security, efficiency, and simplicity. If you people have any idea then please let me know.

Thanks in advance!

i used to use cuteftp until i discovered WinSCP (it's free and allows connection via sftp with a secure key generated from your server, while keeping the standard ftp look & feel)

of course, because of this: http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=293298 i disabled ssh access outside of my area. the likelihood of a neighbor hacking me is slim compared to the region of the world where most of my hack attempts come from.

I use SmartFTP, but now I'm starting to use CoffeeCup FTP and it's great for changing some code and directly uploading it back to the server. I like if for doing updates on my home page.

How does that work with keeping a backup of the file you just changed?

I have to ask why you described as above, are you in marketing by any chance. LOL

I have to say I use FTPRush and find it adequate for the task.
