No more products in my webshop

Hello everyone,

 

I installed the speed optimization contribution on my webshop some time ago and all has gone well.

 

Today we were busy with 4 other people updating the webshop (+10000 articles), suddenly the system went very slow.

 

Then all of a sudden I got an error message with invalid number of arguments passed to implode function. When I looked closer and disabled this contribution, I saw that there were no more articles in my webshop. After examining the database, the following tables are completely empty:

 

categories

categories_description

products

products_attributes

products_description

products_to_categories

 

Does anyone have any idea how this is possible? Can these tables be emptied all at once? I did delete one categorie in of articles using the admin section, but I don't suppose that this can delete my whole catalog?

 

Or has my site been hacked?

Actually, it can happen. You're not the first one or the second one to have that happen (unfortunately).
