Confirmation Email not sending unless I set Authorize.net Customer Notification to true

I'm receiving 2 confirmation emails when I have my Authorize.net Customer Notifications set to True. If I set the authorize.net customer notification to false, I don't get any email receipts. I want just the one from osCommerce and not the one from Authorize.net. Any ideas why this might be happening?
