Error: Catalog images directory does not exist:

i am getting this error, even though i can pull up the exact path given behind this error in a web browser and it does exist, this problem only exitsts in the admin module, any help is appreciated, have done lots of oscommerce installations and never ran into this one, kinda baffling

 

has anyone had this issue, any help is very much appreciated from the best forum on the planet and the best e-commerce solution available

Mine is that I have placed my admin section in the secure directory of my site, and it seems to be effecting the pathes in the admin section. You might want to make sure there arent slashes missing, or that you have the correct permissions.
