Mentioning OSCommerce in Footer of a New Site

Hi Team,

 

I am going to be working on a new site that I will use oscommerce for. This client does not want to mention what e-commerce software we are using. Do I have to legally put the OSCommerce link on the footer of the store or can I get away from using it? I want to be fair but I want to make sure I can get this potential client as well.

You do not have to mention the fact that you are using osCommerce. Remove the link.

Thank You. I am a heavy believer in due diligence especially when I use someone elses free application to make money on, but once in awhile I will run into a potential client who wants things without the mention of all the third parties.

I think that you have to change the look and feel of osc to be able to remove the link.
