filipgaliza Posted February 26, 2008 Posted February 26, 2008 Hi Team, I am going to be working on a new site that I will use oscommerce for. This client does not want to mention what e-commerce software we are using. Do I have to legally put the OSCommerce link on the footer of the store or can I get away from using it? I want to be fair but I want to make sure I can get this potential client as well. Thanks! Spaceghost <SPAM> Visit My Site at http://www.WebPageCreation.org </SPAM>
burt Posted February 26, 2008 Posted February 26, 2008 You do not have to mention the fact that you are using osCommerce. Remove the link.
filipgaliza Posted February 26, 2008 Author Posted February 26, 2008 Thank You. I am a heavy believer in due diligence especially when I use someone elses free application to make money on, but once in awhile I will run into a potential client who wants things without the mention of all the third parties. Guest Posted February 26, 2008 Posted February 26, 2008 Thank You. I think that you have to change the look and feel of osc to be able to remove the link.
