Guest Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 I think that I change price of vender list by going to format cells... I need to increase prices by a %... LOL... WHAT option is it... or do I have to change every 15,000 items one by one...
Avec Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 Do you mean change them in MS Excel? If so, type the percentage increase you desire in a blank cell (if 20% increase, type 1.20) Copy this cell. Select all of the cells you wish to change. Right click and select paste special, multiply. Sorry if you meant something else.
Guest Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 So then if I need lets say a 175% mark up then I would type 1.175 then click multiply... I do that and I get back the same coulam that the numbers are not right... SO that prob would tell me that I am not doing it right... LOL...
germ Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 Put 1.75 in a blank cell. <right-click> on it and choose "Copy" Highlight the column you want to multiply. Click "Edit" then "Paste Special" In the dialogue box that pops up, in the top portion be sure "All" is selected. In the bottom portion select "Multiply". Then click "OK" If I suggest you edit any file(s) make a backup first - I'm not perfect and neither are you.
