You could try and whack em up on your web server and chuck in some HMTL somewhere in the text body like <img src='www.yourserver.com/toilet.jpg' border ='0'> That should be good enough for body text in an email any ways.

 

Not tested to see if this works in a PHP environ tho :-o

I have just tried this and the newsletter displayed the hyperlinked images in the preview but when it was sent out to my Hotmail it just appeared as all HTML code :(

 

Also, if anyone checks their emails offline, hyperlinked images will be broken links....

 

Where are the options to ensure the HTML is displayed correctly and NOT just the code?

Hey Rachel,

 

Here's a couple of things to check:

 

In your Cpanel at your host, make sure that your sites URL is listed in "HotLink Protection".

 

In the osC Admin Panel > Configuration > E-Mail Options your settings are -

E-Mail Transport Method = sendmail

Use MIME HTML When Sending Emails = true
