andrew4545 Posted February 22, 2008 Posted February 22, 2008 Does anyone know to get images in to the newsletter to send to customers
lukeyboyo Posted February 22, 2008 Posted February 22, 2008 You could try and whack em up on your web server and chuck in some HMTL somewhere in the text body like <img src='www.yourserver.com/toilet.jpg' border ='0'> That should be good enough for body text in an email any ways. Not tested to see if this works in a PHP environ tho :-o
Fuzzbutt.co.uk Posted May 13, 2008 Posted May 13, 2008 I have just tried this and the newsletter displayed the hyperlinked images in the preview but when it was sent out to my Hotmail it just appeared as all HTML code :( Also, if anyone checks their emails offline, hyperlinked images will be broken links.... Where are the options to ensure the HTML is displayed correctly and NOT just the code? Imperial Sandtrooper TD-2441, UK Garrison Ghostbuster "Dr Smith"
jhande Posted May 13, 2008 Posted May 13, 2008 Hey Rachel, Here's a couple of things to check: In your Cpanel at your host, make sure that your sites URL is listed in "HotLink Protection". In the osC Admin Panel > Configuration > E-Mail Options your settings are - E-Mail Transport Method = sendmail Use MIME HTML When Sending Emails = true Hope that helps some! - :: Jim :: - - My Toolbox ~ Adobe Web Bundle, XAMPP & WinMerge | Install ~ osC v2.3.3.4 -
