Mozilla Firefox background image not showed neither column-with etc

Hi all!

I have struggled a couple of days with this and read both the posts here and on other sites but i havent got any sokution to my problem yet: I have changed stylesheet.css to show an backgrund image and to set column-widht and everything is working fine with IE, but on Mozilla it doesnt work at all, here's the code:

background-repeat: no-repeat;

background-position: center;

background-attachment: fixed;

margin-top: 15px;

I have tried to change from '%' to 'px' but no, it doesnt work, I have also tried to put the filename between " " but no! I have also checked the specifications from Mozilla regarding this but I cant see anything wrong with my stylesheet (or shall I call it styleshit? ;-) ) If anyone has a solution to this I would be thankful if You posted it here!

P.S I have also checked it with W3C CSS Validator and it doesn't display any warning about the code

Don't forget to refresh your page so you get the new stylesheet loaded.

Don't forget to refresh your page so you get the new stylesheet loaded.

 

Thx for the reply bktrain but unfortunately it didnt help. I guess something in my installation is overriding this directive or do You have any other suggestion?

The problem is the background picture size. It is on 632 x 474. With backgroun-repeat set to no repeat the picture is being hidden. Either remove that part or set it to repeat.

Also the css settings for the caruiys <table><tr><td> tags through out wsc will over ride the background picture.

Forget the last 2 posts.

I took your stylesheet from your site and put it on mine. It did not wirk in Firefox for me either. There is something wrong with your stylesheet.

Here is a new one with all of your settings.

Delet your old stylsheet. Open up notepad copy and paste the following and save as stylesheet.css. I tried this one on my site and all worked ok in IE and Firefox.
