Failed opening required 'languages/.php' when viewing docs

When I try to browse the docs after an install, I get:

 

Fatal error: Failed opening required 'languages/.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php') in /usr/local/apache_ssl/htdocs/tep-docs/documentation/includes/global.php

 

Any clues,

Never mind. Not following the instructions :(

It wasn't what I thought it was, but the docs seem OK on a vanilla Apache 2.0, RH 8.0 install. Weird.
