I designed a store for a friend and installed it on my domain first to test it out while he registered his domain. He ended up adding a bunch of stuff to the test setup and doesnt want to add them all again. I tried backing up the database and image directory from the test setup and uploading it to the final site, but it didn't make any changes. How do i Copy all the products he added to his domain?

I installed it on both sites. Where it says "Export EP or Froogle Products File" I chose to "Download on the fly a complete .csv file (model number is always included)." and then I went to the other site and I chose the first option, which is "Upload and Import EP File" and inserted it into the database. The result is that I had the imported categories show up in one of the sections. The list shows but there are no products! And there are two more sections in which the categories or products didn't even show. What am I missing?

What am I missing? you could try one thing.. you can copy the following tables : products products_options products_options_values products_attributes products_to_categories categories categories_description tthe last 2 you need not cos ifyou see the categories coming up in the front end it means they hhave safely come to the store.. use phpmyadmin.. always better. Hari
