Guest Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 I have tried a bunch of the tips and tricks on this forum, and still have loading issues. I put the debug code in to see how the database calls are effecting the page loads, but I am not sure what to do from here (Look at the bottom of the page). Nothing you can do anymore (14 queries, that is good). But 1-2 seconds for queries that only should take milliseconds, that is ridiculous.

Obewanz Posted February 22, 2008 Posted February 22, 2008 By all means, get a new host!!!!!! I can tell you from experience... I used to run servers for a myriad of folks, but when I finally gave up my own web servers and parked my stuff on a friend's temp server, it really sucked! I still have a couple of sites on his server that I would LOVE to get onto a different provider, but can't justify the expense yet and I won't go to a free one again. If you can, I would suggest moving this site to a GoDaddy hosting plan, you can get the site, domain registration/hosting, an SSL, and a few other goodies for less than $150 for 1 year hosting and 2 years on everything else!! (I think the hosting is about $120 annually.) Quite frankly, I've been very pleased with their service thus far (signed on this past December) and my site is running quite nicely with all of the extras including nearly 1000 products now.
