Exclude Manufactuerer or Category from discount

Hello there :)

 

I have been running OSC successfully now for almost a year with many contributions installed but I now find myself stumped.

 

One of the contibs I have installed is the Members Discount, when someone registers with our shop they have an option of listing the club that they are a member of. Once we have checked them out we set-up the discount against them that we have agreed with the club and then the discount is applied at the checkout. This has been working well for us - up til now :(

 

We have just become agents for a particular product range, the problem we have is that we need to make this particular brand eclusive from the discount offers.

 

Is there a way I can set a manufacturer to be excluded from discount?

Example:

 

Customer A : Flagged with 10% discount

 

Buys product from manufacturer FF (discount deducted at checkout)

Buys product from manufacturer GG (no discount deducted)

 

==============================================================

 

Is this possible? Would it be a simple integration into the contrib i'm already using or would I be better off looking into another contribution option altogether.

 

Unfortunately I dont have the skills to write these mods myself so I am thankful for you guys that can.
